Ben is majoring in Physics. He is a member of the Colby Drone Club.

2017-2018 season highlights: Ben, who was on the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team, was a captain for the Mules. He rowed in the fifth spot for the men's varsity 8. 

2016-2017 season highlights: Ben was in the sixth spot in the boat when the second varsity 8 made the Grand Final and took sixth place at the New England Championships. He was also in the sixth spot when the second varsity 8 defeated University of New Hampshire. Ben also saw one race in the varsity 8 boat from the second spot, and had two other races from the fourth spot in the second varsity 8. Ben will be one of three captains for the 2017-18 academic year.

2014-2015 season highlights: Swift opened the season in the seventh position of the novice boat that finished fifth at the Snake Regatta. Swift then took fourth at the Worcester Regatta with the second varsity boat and served in the fifth position in the second varsity boat that took second at the UNH Regatta.
