Biography

Why I chose Colby: "I chose Colby because I had the opportunity to ski, gain a liberal arts education, and explore a new part of the country."

Internship/Work Experience: "I worked with CSEND, a small non-profit organization in Switzerland. While in Switzerland, I attended meetings at the United Nations and wrote a 60 page paper on the global expansion of cities by 2050. I have also worked on campus in the scheduling office since my first year and have built a strong network of connections. My sophomore year I worked at the Sundance Film Institute as a volunteer resources intern and learned how to utilize volunteers in non-profit organizations in order to run events."

Major: Economics and French

Favorite Place on Campus: Johnson Pond

Most Memorable Team Experience: "The ski team goes to Canada during Thanksgiving break every year. During my first year, the team atmosphere and the skiing was beautiful. I remember sitting around in a circle and saying what we were thankful for during Thanksgiving dinner and everyone was smiling and enjoying each other's company."
