BEFORE COLBY
Chandler graduated from Yarmouth High School, where he played soccer, lacrosse, and tennis. He was a two-time all-conference selection and an all-state selection his senior year.
AT COLBY
Chandler has an Educational Studies (Human Development concentration) major and a Chemistry minor. He is also a member of the Colby Outing Club, the Colby Leadership Academy, a Colby Cares About Kids mentor, and a Student Athletic Advisory Committee member. Additionally, Smith is a Student Government Association treasurer, a sexual violence peer mentor, a mentor for violence prevention, and a strength & conditioning coach.
2017 season highlights: Smith played in 13 games for the Mules in his final season, making 12 starts on defense. He was on the NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team and earned Colby's Donald P. Lake Award for athletic ability, leadership, and academic accomplishment.
2016 season highlights: Chandler made 12 starts for the Mules on defense.
2015 season highlights: Smith started in 15 games for the Mules, finishing the year with one assist while playing on defense.
2014 season highlights: Chandler played in all 16 games for the Mules in his first season, making 15 starts. Smith finished the season with two goals and 10 shots.
