BEFORE COLBY

Alden graduated with high honors from Kent School and played baseball. He was a member of Senior Council. 

AT COLBY 

Alden is majoring in Economics with a minor in Math. He works as both a teaching and research assistant for the Economics Department. Alden has interned at Actos Capital.

2017 season highlights: Alden, the team captain, was on the NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team and the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. Alden was second among Colby golfers at the Thomas Invitational. He also competed at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier, the CBB Tournament, the Maine Intercollegiate Championship, and the Maine Maritime Invitational. 

2016 season highlights: Alden was second among Colby golfers with an 84 at the Maine Maritime Invitational. He also competed at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier and was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2015 season highlights: Southworth made an immediate impact in his first season with the team, playing in every two-day event for the Mules. He consistently placed in the top five for scoring throughout the year. Alden was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
