BEFORE COLBY
Riley graduated from Hathaway Brown School, where she played field hockey and lacrosse. She was named to the All-Ohio second team, the recipient of the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award, and named the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Goalie of the Year. Riley was a captain and the MVP for field hockey. She interned for Total Health Counseling.
AT COLBY
Riley is majoring in Psychology at Colby. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor, Playground Pals volunteer, and game worker for ice hockey.
2018 season highlights: Whitmyer started all 16 games for the Mules. She finished her final season first in the NESCAC in saves (118) and third in save percentage (.814). She tallied five shutouts. She was named to NESCAC Second Team All-Conference.
2017 season highlights: Riley started all 15 games for the Mules, finishing with a .829 save percentage and six shutouts. Her 121 saves were the third-most in the NESCAC.
2016 season highlights: Whitmyer started nine games for the Mules, finishing with three wins and one shutout.
2015 season highlights: Whitmyer appeared in four games in goal for the Mules in her first season, making 13 saves.
