The Colby Men's Tennis program dates back to 1965 and competes in the highly-competitive New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), which frequently sees multiple teams advancing to the NCAA tournament each year. The Colby Tennis teams play on theÂ
Alfond-Wales Courts (ten-hard surface courts) for the outdoor season and is housed inside theÂ
Indoor Competition Center during the winter months.
Led by Head Coach Adam Reeb, Men's Tennis has had one or more players honored on the All-NESCAC team in the last five consecutive years, including the 2025 NESCAC Rookie of the Year Jason Daly '28 and the 2025 Clarence Chaffee Sportsmanship Award honoree Jake Cohen '25. The team has appeared in the Conference tournament for the last four straight seasons. Colby Men's Tennis totals five All-American awards in program history including Carl Reid's back to back selections in 2013 and 2014. Most recently in 2024, Joseph Barrett, who appeared in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, was named a first-team Academic All-American member.
