Colby Track & Field Ready for NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships

Waterville, Maine — The Colby Men's and Women's Track and Field programs are sending a powerful contingent to the biggest stage of the season. 11 Mules have qualified to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, a three-day national event beginning Thursday, May 21st at the Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Colby will be well-represented across the board, competing in four individual and three relay events over the course of the weekend.

The action kicks off Thursday afternoon with the preliminary rounds. Defending national champion Levi Biery will get things started for the Mules in the men's 400-meter hurdles, quickly followed by standout sprinter Simone Waheed in the women's 200-meter dash. Thursday evening features back-to-back relay action, as the women's 4x400m team of Alex Hermsdorf, Charlotte Brake-Hoffman, Olivia Doherty, and Kaitlyn Ewald takes the track just ahead of the men's 4x400m squad, featuring Sam Graubart, Mark Graubart, Jackson Coelho, and Levi Biery.

Friday's preliminary schedule features the women's 4x100 relay unit of Tally Zeller, Ewald, Waheed, and Brake-Hoffman, while Waheed returns to the track solo later that afternoon for the 100-meter dash prelims.

Saturday shifts entirely to the national finals. Lexington Lehnert will open the final day for the Mules in the men's pole vault at noon, while the remaining track athletes look to secure spots in their respective final heats throughout Saturday afternoon.

Fans can follow alongside all of the events through the NCAA.com live stream and live results link. Additional information can be found on the NCAA Championships page.
