Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams are headed to Williams College this weekend to compete in the 2026 NESCAC Championships. For the first time in conference history, the Championships will be a two-day meet instead of one in years past. The Ephs are hosting the event for the first time since 2015.
Heading into this weekends events, the Mules hold ten top-three conference times/marks from the outdoor season. Starting with the women's team,
Simone Waheed will look to defend her 2025 title in the 100m event. This season she currently holds the second best time in the NESCAC with an 11.67. The junior also holds the second fastest 200m time at a 24.41. In the 400m event,
Kaitlyn Ewald holds a time of 56.53 seconds, the third fastest in the conference.
Olivia Doherty also holds a third fastest time which is in the 800m event (2:12.10). Moving on to relays, Colby holds the second fastest 4x100 relay (46.70) and 4x400 relay times (3:45.74).
On the men's side of competition
Levi Biery, the 2025 400m hurdles champion, holds the fastest time this season with a 51.80.
Lexington Lehnert also holds a top spot in an event with a 4.90mm result in the pole vault.
Jackson Coelho currently holds the third fastest 400m time with a 47.84. Lastly, the men's 4x400m relay squad has the best conference time with a 3:11.98.
On Saturday, April 25, the field events begin at 1 p.m., and the track events start at 2 p.m. On Sunday, April 26, both track and field events are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Fans can follow alongside all of Saturday's and Sunday's events through the
