Waterville, Maine - Despite several marathon matches and a win at the top doubles flight, the Colby Men's Tennis team fell to Wesleyan University 6-1 on Saturday afternoon. The Mules are now 4-6 overall and 2-2 in conference action.
Colby started the day with high energy in doubles play. The No. 1 duo of
Jason Daly and
Marco Ziets-Segura delivered a statement win, defeating thier pair of opponents 6-3. However, the Cardinals managed to secure the doubles point by taking the No. 2 and No. 3 matches with identical 6-4 scores, giving them the early 1-0 lead.
