Colby Challenges #4 Trinity in Friday Night Matchup

Hartford, Conn. — The Colby Men's Basketball team battled on the road Friday but came up short against a national ranked Trinity squad, falling 98–75 despite a huge night from Dan Civello. The sophomore guard was electric from start to finish, leading all scorers with 27 points on 10-for-14 shooting, including a pair of blocks.

The Mules shot an impressive 50% from the field and moved the ball well against one of the NESCAC's top defenses. Civello set the tone early, while Theo Pow added a steady presence in the front court with 13 points and six rebounds. Sam Hinman contributed eight points, six boards, and three steals as Colby continued to generate balanced scoring across their rotation.

However Trinity's transition game (35 points off turnovers) and depth (37 bench points) helped the Bantams build separation in the second half and take the victory.

The Mules move to 16-7 overall and 4-5 in NESCAC play as they head into the regular season final at Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.
