Williamstown, Mass. - The Colby College Field Hockey team played the Williams Ephs on the road Saturday. Colby and Williams battled hard, but Williams came out on top with a 4-0 win. The Mules now stand 0-4 overall in the NESCAC conference.

Colby and Williams both came out hard to start the game. While Williams had more offensive opportunities, the score remained scoreless for the first quarter. Williams scored first with less than a minute into the second quarter, and then took a 2-0 lead late in the quarter to end the half. Williams continued to dominate the offensive end with two more goals in the second half, finishing with a 4-0 win. The Mules finished the game with three shots on net and two penalty corners. First-year Ginna Jacoby registered six saves during the game to give Colby a fighting chance.
