Manchester, Maine – The Colby College golf team tied for sixth place overall at the Mariners Invitational, held at Augusta Country Club on Tuesday. The Mules finished with a team score of 326 (+46), matching host Maine Maritime Academy. Husson claimed victory with a team score of 288 (+8).  

Jack Marquardt led the effort for the Mules, carding a 78 (+8) to finish tied for 15th place individually. Matthew Lamy followed with an 81 (+11) to tie for 23rd, while Trey Hanson posted an 83 (+13) to tie for 29th. Owen Carlson contributed an 84 (+14) to finish tied for 31st, and Stefan Verbeek rounded out the lineup in 35th place with an 85 (+15).  

Colby Golf will return to action at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 at Brunswick Golf Course in Brunswick, Maine.
