Biddeford, Maine - The Colby College Women's Soccer team traveled to the University of New England tonight for a midweek non-conference matchup. The Mules shut out the Nor'easters 3-0, improving their overall record to 3-1-1.

Colby played a very offensive game, outshooting UNE 21-8 and allowing zero corner kicks. The Mules struck first at 10:21 when Abigail Jarvi scored low and centered into the net off a pass from Ella Caraluzzi. The Jarvi Caraluzzi duo connected again in the second half at 53:28 to double Colby's lead. Just ten minutes later, Claire Walsh extended the advantage to 3-0 with a shot to the bottom right corner, assisted by Catherine Watrous. Goalkeeper Sadie Gardner recorded five key saves, while Talia Thompson came in for the last 17 minutes of play, adding one more save to seal the shutout for the Mules. Jarvi led the offense with four shots on goal.

Colby prepares for more NESCAC play this weekend as they will head to Connecticut to face the Camels of Connecticut College on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
