Waterville, Maine - For the fourth consecutive season, the Colby Softball team has earned a spot in the NESCAC Championship Tournament following a 16-19 regular season record and 10-8 conference record. The fourth seeded Mules will matchup with the fifth seeded Middlebury Panthers in the quarterfinal round this Saturday, May 10th.

During the regular season, the two teams split there doubleheader matchup back on April 26th in Vermont. Middlebury took game one 4-2 while Colby won game two 6-4. The last time these two teams met in postseason play was the 2022 quarterfinals with the Panthers winning 7-2.

Saturday's game is schedule for an early 9:30am start at tournament hosts Tufts University. Fans can follow alongside all of the action of championship weekend using the live stats and live video links as well as check out the NESCAC Championship Central page for more information. The Mules will look to use the momentum of winning their last four straight games. 

The winner will move on to the semifinal round taking place later that same day at 2:30pm facing the winner of the No. 8 Amherst vs. No. 1 Tufts matchup.
