Waterville, Maine - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) DIII All-Region Teams were announced recently with six Mules being honored. These six, alongside the rest of the team, were huge factors in Colby's historic push in the NCAA DIII Tournament making it all the way to the final four for the first time.
Ainsley Dion,
Julia Jardina and
Kat Munter all earn All-Region First Team recognition while
Jillian Kane,
Gisele Uva and
Izzy Wang earn a spot on the All-Region Second Team. Only one of the 16 named to the Pilgrim Region First Team was not a member of Colby, Tufts or Middlebury Women's Lacrosse.

A week later the IWLCA released its 2025 DIII All-American Teams with both Jardina and Munter being named to the First Team following their All-American First Team selections from the USA Lacrosse Magazine. Jardina, now a three-time All-American, finished the season with a program record 71 goals including six game winners, 11 assists, 21 ground balls and 72 draw controls. She ends her collegiate career with 211 total points and the most draw controls in Colby history (307).
As of today Munter, now a two-time All-American, has claimed the title of the IWLCA Defender of the Year. The 2025 NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year was a force all over the field leading the team in ground balls (46), draw controls (77), and caused turnovers (34). Munter was also recently named the IWLCA National Player of the Week on May 20. She ends her four-year career with over 100 ground balls (125) and draw controls (115) including 86 caused turnovers.
Dion joins Jardina and Munter on the IWLCA All-American squad earning Second Team recognition. Dion had a standout year with 35 goals, 72 draw controls, 17 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. She ends her career with 79 goals, 65 ground balls and a whopping 233 draw controls.
