Hadley, Mass. - Carissa Cassidy of the Colby Softball team has been named a 2025 All-NESCAC First Team selection following the conclusion of this years campaign. The outfielder adds on to her previous 2023 and 2024 second team honors. 

Cassidy had an impressive junior year batting with a team leading .385 average good for 37 hits, 23 runs, and 16 RBIs. Two of those hits were triples with three doubles including the most stolen bases on the team with 13. She had a slugging percentage of .458 and a on base percentage of .449. In the field she managed a .941 fielding percentage with 61 put outs. 

Compared to the rest of the conference she ranks ninth in batting average, on base percentage and stolen bases. 

Be on the lookout for Cassidy and the rest of the Colby Softball team next spring.
