Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's Crew team is set to compete in the 122nd Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship after earning an at-large invitation announced recently by commissioner Laura Kunkemueller. The Mules, making their first appearance at the IRA, will join five other NESCAC schools in the regatta.
The 2025 IRA regatta will be held on the Cooper River in Camden, New Jersey and will feature Division III racing on Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st. This will be the fourth consecutive one to host a DIII championship.
"We're incredibly excited for the opportunity to compete against the best teams in the country and the opportunity to race for a National Championship," stated Head Coach of Colby Crew
Stew Stokes. "Our team has been working very hard this year, as have all the other teams, and things have come together well over the spring season to earn them this opportunity. We're going to use the next couple weeks to keep finding speed and can't wait to get back on the starting line!"
