Middlebury, Vt - Following a match against Babson the day before, the Colby Women's Tennis team continued its road trip in a matchup against #6 ranked Middlebury.
In doubles, the Mules put up a strong effort but were outmatched and unable to secure the doubles point. After a loss at the #3 position, the Mules had a tight contest at the #2 position, ultimately falling 6-4 to their Middlebury opponents. The Panthers rounded things off with a 6-3 victory at the #1 spot.
In singles play, the Panthers continued their strong play, winning in straight sets at all six positions.
After facing two top 15 teams this past weekend, the Mules will look to bounce back next weekend in two all-important NESCAC matchups, with Amherst on Saturday and Hamilton on Sunday. Both matches will be hosted by Colby.
