Women's Lacrosse Set to Host Trinity in NESCAC Quarterfinals

Waterville, Maine - For the fourth consecutive year, the Colby Women's Lacrosse team is set to host a NESCAC Quarterfinal matchup taking on the sixth seeded Bantams this Saturday, April 26th. The Mules concluded the regular season with an impressive 13-2 overall record (8-2 in conference) to secure the three seed for this years NESCAC tournament. Ranked third in all of Division III, the two losses came from conference foes Middlebury and Tufts, the only teams ranked above Colby in the latest IWLCA Poll

During the regular season, the Mules dominated #15 Trinity 12-2 back on April 12th here on Mayflower Hill. The last time these two teams met in postseason play was the 2023 quarterfinals where Colby recorded a 12-10 victory. The Mules will look to use the momentum of winning their last five regular season games.

Saturday's matchup is scheduled to begin at noon here in Waterville. Fans can follow alongside the action through the live stats and live video links as well as check out the NESCAC Championship Central page for more information. With a win, the Mules will advanced to their fourth consecutive conference semifinals. 

Following the conclusion of this weekends quarterfinal matchups, the four winners will compete on championship weekend at the highest remaining seed. The semifinals will take place Saturday, May 3rd followed by the championship game on Sunday, May 4th.
