Hadley, Mass. - As the Colby Women's Ice Hockey team heads into the NESCAC semifinal round, a quartet of Mules have been named to the All-Conferece team.

Following last years First Team Honors, Breanna Studley has once again been named an All-NESCAC First Team selection. Despite making a move to defense after being a forward her first two seasons, Studley has continued to be a crucial piece of Mules offensive while having the most shots in the conference with 109. This season, while playing in all 24 games, the junior has racked up a total of 15 points with eight goals and seven assists on top of 28 blocked shots. Studley had the game winning goal against Wesleyan back on December 6th.

Senior goalie Mandy Busky was named to the All-NESCAC second team this season earning her first All-Conference recognition. She has played in 14 games this season with an impressive 11-1-2 record. In those 14 games Busky has totaled 339 saves with a .963 save percentage and .92 goals against average (third in the NESCAC). 

Joining Busky on the second team and also earning their first All-Conference selections is senior defender Georgia Pettygrove and junior forward Courtney Schumacher. Pettygrove has contributed 16 points while playing in all 24 games this season with five goals and 11 assists. She also has 17 blocked shots and two game winners; one in the first game of the year versus Suffolk and on January 10th at Hamilton. Schumacher has a very similar stat line racking up 16 points this season with eight goals and eight assist while playing in all 24 games. She has two game winning goals on the year both against Trinity. On January 31st in a 4-1 win and in last weekend 2-1 quarterfinal victory. 

Be on the lookout for these four alongside the rest of the team this Saturday against Middlebury.
