Waterville, Maine - The seventh seeded Colby Men's Basketball team will hit the road Saturday to battle number two seed Trinity Bantams in the first round of the NESCAC tournament. This marks the Mules fifth tournament appearance in the last six years.
The Mules and Bantams will be facing each other for the second time in a week after Colby fell to nationally tenth ranked Trinity 88-78, on the final weekend of the regular season. In the game the Mules tallied five in double-digit scoring;

On Saturday, Colby will look to knock off the defending NESCAC Champions and defeat the Bantams for the first time in the conference tournament. The last time the two teams met was in the 2016 quarterfinals with Trinity securing a 71-60 win. Statistically, Colby is the top-scoring team in the NESCAC averaging 79.6 points per game while the Bantams have the best defense holding opponents to a conference-low 56 points per contest. The Mules will look to climb their way back into the championship game after appearing in two of the last four.
The quarterfinal NESCAC matchup is set for a 4:30pm start on February 22nd. Fans can follow alongside the action using the
