After an impressive 3-1 win yesterday, Colby entered today's game with confidence. Although Wesleyan scored at 5:43 into the period, the Mules fired 12 shots on goal and earned two power play opportunities. Goaltender
Mandy Busky made five saves to keep Colby close as they headed into the second period trailing 0-1. The second period was action packed with three power play attempts for the Mules, eight shots on goal, and 16 major saves from Busky. During the Mules third power play opportunity of the period,
Courtney Schumacher scored the equalizer with just five seconds remaining in the period. Entering the third period tied 1-1, Colby kept their energy high as they looked to take the lead. At 9:45, the Mules secured their second power play of the period, and Schumacher capitalized again, scoring her second power play goal of the game to put Colby up 2-1. At 17:24 Wesleyan tied up the game, which forced the Mules and Cardinals into overtime. Despite outstanding offensive and defensive efforts, the Mules fell short 2-3. Busky finished with 26 saves,

Breanna Studley led in shots with 12.
The Mules will host the Middlebury College Panthers next Friday for their final weekend of regular season play.
