Biddeford, Maine - The #13-ranked Colby College Women's Ice Hockey team faced the Nor'easters of UNE in a non-conference matchup. The Mules showed strong efforts throughout all three periods, leading them to a dominant 4-0 victory.

Colby hit the ice with high energy, controlling the game early. They dominated offensively in the first period with an impressive 34 total shots. At 16:57, Megan Martodam opened the scoring to give the Mules a 1-0 lead, assisted by Lulu Gray. Goaltender Grace Caligiuri made four saves in the opening period to keep the Nor'easters off the board. Entering the second period after controlling the first, the Mules were ready to extend their lead. Just four minutes in, at 4:12, Addie Paskowski doubled the advantage, assisted by Molly Lefebvre. Colby held strong for the remainder of the period, earning a power-play opportunity and firing another 35 shots, while Caligiuri added one more save. The third period saw more excellent offensive and defensive play from the Mules. At 4:17, Lefebvre extended the lead to 3-0, assisted by Kayleigh Michaud-Nolan. Colby continued to dominate offensively with 25 additional shots in the period. At 12:42, Martodam scored her second of the game, assisted by Gray and Sophia Kennedy, to make it 4-0. Caligiuri made five more saves in the third for a game total of 10, securing the shutout. Colby finished with an incredible 97 total shots, including 49 on goal. Breanna Studley led the team with 14 shots. The Mules' strong play on both sides of the puck earned them the exciting 4-0 win over the Nor'easters.

The Mules will face Salve Regina on Saturday for a 3:00 PM puck drop on their home ice.
