Colby Prevails Over Rutgers-Camden 62-54

Camden, N.J. - The Colby Women's Basketball team came out victorious over the Raptors of Rutgers-Camden winning 62-54. The Mules improved their record to 4-0 as Rutgers-Camden dropped to 3-3.

Colby spread the wealth today with eight different players scoring, coming out strong with 18 points in the first quarter. With zero lead changes, the Mules stayed ahead the whole game with the highest lead being 25 points at the end of the second quarter. Colby wrapped up the first half strong after scoring 20 in the second quarter and holding the Raptors to only six points. Going hard on the boards, the Mules pulled out 32 rebounds with Lydia Mordarski grabbing seven. Playing unselfishly, Colby had 13 assists throughout the game and 14 points off the bench.

Kate Olenik once again greatly contributed with 22 points along with three assists and five rebounds. On the defensive end, Amelia Hanscom stood out with four steals in addition to her two rebounds and team leading three assists. Mordarski dropped 10 points on the night, closely followed by Ana Von Rumohr with nine. 

The Mules look to extend their streak this Tuesday November 25th traveling to Brooklyn College.
