The Mules will then head to Brunswick the following day to face the Polar Bears on their home ice. The Mules will look to avenge last seasons results of falling to Bowdoin 2-0 and 3-2 (OT) during the regular season.
Last season was an monumental one from Colby finishing with 18 wins while the team made their third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last four season. The team defeated #11 Wilkes 4-3 in the opening round before falling to #2 Amhers 4-1 in the quarterfinals. Before that the Mules made their way to a fifth straight NESCAC semifinals game. After beating Trinity 2-1 in the conference quarterfinals, Colby came up short to Middlebury 3-0.
The top three goal scorers for the Mules return from last year including All-American
Breanna Studley. The senior totaled nine goals and seven assists as a defender last year including 32 blocked shots and an impressive +15 plus/minus stat. Senior forward Courtney Schmacher had eight goals and eight assists in the 2023-24 campaign with junior forward

Mandy Busky's '25 place as the starting goaltender.
A large senior class of nine will provide leadership to the team this season as the Mules are joined by a first-year group of ten looking to make an impact on the program right away.
