Bangor, Maine - The Colby College Women's Soccer team faced the Eagles of Husson University for some mid-week non-conference play. The Mules played a dominant offensive game, allowing only one shot for the Eagles and scoring three goals within a span of 10 minutes to walk away with a 3-0 victory.
The Mules came out strong for tonight's matchup, firing nine shots and earning six corner kicks in the first half while holding Husson to just one shot. Starting goalkeeper
Talia Thompson made one save to keep the game scoreless heading into halftime. Entering the second half, Colby remained hungry for the lead, totaling 13 shots while allowing none for Husson. Finally, with just under 13 minutes left to play,
Samantha DeWitt broke through at 77:21 with a goal assisted by
Claire Walsh. At 85:13,
Abigail Jarvi doubled the lead, while also leading the team with six shots on the night. Just two and a half minutes later, at 87:52,
Amanda Schneider sealed the 3-0 win with Colby's third goal of the half.Â

Colby returns to action next Saturday in Waterville where they will take on the Panthers of Middlebury College at 11:00 AM.
