Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Field Hockey played the USM Huskies on Sunday. Colby went down early in the game but fought back and walked away with a 5-2 win. 

Colby and USM played an even first quarter, but USM capitalized early, making it a 1-0 game just six minutes into the game. Shortly after, first-year Teagan Kilpatrick found the back of the net to tie the game, earning her first goal of her career. The Huskies fought back and took the lead once again shortly after. In the second quarter, junior Bridget Everett scored her fourth goal of the season off a pass from sophomore Christina Sweeney. With the game tied going into the second half, Colby fought hard to earn their first lead of the game. Senior Ella Brockelman scored her first goal of her career on a Mules offensive penalty corner to give the Mules a 3-2 lead. First-year Bridget Waters scored her second goal of the season just seven minutes later off a pass from Brockelman, extending Colby's lead to 4-2. To start the fourth quarter, Sweeney netted her ninth goal of the season, securing the Mules 5-2 win over the Huskies. First-year Ginna Jacoby had three saves during the game.

Colby is back in action on Saturday at Trinity at 11am.
