Waterville, Maine - The Colby Women's Squash team started the 2025 year on an exceptionally strong note.
In the first wave Tattie Gibbs, Hailey Coon, and Abisheka Shannon each started off their home season with clear wins against the Hamilton Continentals. No one dropped a game in the first round. With two talented freshman demonstrating their competitive spirit; Coons going 11-0 in one of her games and T. Gibbs with a 11-1 win in their first career home matches, respectfully.
The second wave brought more heat for the Mules as India Spencer dominated a 3-1 win and Lee Lee Gibbs and Lavanya Kugan cleaned up without dropping a game with 3-0 wins.
In the final wave Amanda Miller and Kenzie Oshea each brought three zero wins for Colby to clarify the women's 8-1 win to start their 2025 season.
The Colby Women's Squash team will face Williams this Friday, January 17th.
