Waterville, ME - The Colby College Men's Tennis team fell 3-6 to Amherst in Colby's second NESCAC matchup of the year, on Saturday afternoon.
In doubles, Colby took a 2-1 lead with wins at court 2 and 3. First years Sandeep Alapati and Paul Dandler won 8-6, and senior captain Joey Barrett and sophomore Aidan Kwong also won 8-6. Senior captain Sam Henry and junior captain Jake Cohen lost a tiebreaker, 5-7.
In singles, Kwong won his match 6-0 6-1, with stellar play. Alapati lost in a match tiebreaker, 7-6(6) 2-6 0-1(4).
Colby is back in action Sunday, April 7th against Hamilton.
