Waterville, Maine- The Colby Mules take down the Trinity Bantams 8-1 in the first match-up of the weekend.
The Mules swept doubles, with
Ellie Gershaw and
Amelie Gal winning dominating at third doubles 8-1.
Isabella Suk and
Michaela Landry tallied their second win of the season 8-2, and seniors
Sam Riordan and
Sydney Landau finished last at first doubles 8-7.
Colby continued to dominate in singles, with Riordan claiming the first win 6-1, 6-0. Gershaw finished shortly after- besting her opponent 6-2, 6-0.
Jade Finestone came up big with the clinching point, followed by Landau and Landry's singles victory. Landau played the closest match of the day, pulling out a senior day victory of 6-2, 6-4.
The Mules celebrated their two seniors, Riordan and Landau before the match, honoring their contributions to Colby Athletics.
Colby Women's Tennis is back in action tomorrow at 10 am against Wesleyan.
