Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams are ready to begin the 2024-25 campaign hosting the Mammouths on Saturday November 16th. The men's team has been ranked 20th in the CSCAA's National Divison III preseason poll putting them at a high mark heading into the season.

The women's team looks to improve on their solid 5-2 head to head record last season were they finished 5th in the NESCAC Championship, their best placement since 2010. Senior captain
Gabriella Landau returns who was named an All-American the last two seasons in the 100 backstroke. She is joined by four other seniors who will lead the team;
Zoe Appio,
Ellie Mackle,
Lily Moy and fellow captain
Ruby Venturelli. A dozen first-years have joined the team this year;
Abby Bauman,
Zoe Buzzelli,
Olivia Cauley,
Alexis Coates,
Aria Kapoor,
Caitlin Lacey,
Savannah Lombardi,
Lucy Mackey,
Eliza Marco,
Jane Marlott,
Kira Thorton and
Clara Ursu.
On the men's side they will also look to improve on a sound 5-2 head to head record last year where they also finished 5th in the conference championship. The All-American 200 freestyle relay team returns three of their four members this season including senior captain
Carson Rehkopf, captain
Ethan Chang and
Brandon Xiong. Senior
Spencer Cohen will also lead the team this year as a captain. Five first-years join the team this season;
Nathan Codd,
Michael Fiechter,
Yash Gawande,
Curtis Johnson and
Todd Siekman.
Tom Burton returns for his 27th season as Head Coach of the Mules. He is joined by Associate Head Coach
Craig Nisgor in his second season as well as Diving Coach
Luca Brashear who enters his first season at Colby.
