Waterville, Maine - Both the Colby Men's and Women's Squash teams have been ranked 17th in CSA's Preseason ranking ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. The men's team will begin their season hosting Navy on November 23rd while the women begin their season on the road December 6th in Cambridge Mass. taking on Denison.

The last time the men's team faced Navy they pulled out a commanding 8-1 victory back in the 2022-23 season as the women last played against the Big Red in the 2022-23 season with a 7-2 victory.
Colby Men's Squash is coming off a solid 13-6 overall record last year where they earned the four seed for the NESCAC Tournament for the first time in program history making it to the semifinal round. Concluding last years CSA's the team earned the Barnaby award for the fourth time (1989, 1995, 1998) and the first time under Head Coach
Chris Abplanalp. Now a junior,
Inwoo Lee earned Second Team All-American status as the first men's squash player to be honored in school history. This year the men are led by five seniors;
Adrian Castillo,
Ryan Grace,
Kit Illick,
Syed Kashef and
Alan Lopez. They have also picked up two first-year players in
Aidan Corwin from Potomac, Md. and
Timo Radionov hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine.
On the Women's side, they are are looking to improve on their 6-10 record from last year. A major highlight from last season came at the CSA Team Championships when they won the second consolation finals after topping two NESCAC foes in No. 8 Hamilton 9-0 and No. 6 Conn. College 7-2.
Andrea Lee, who graduated last spring, had the best performance for the Mules in the CSA Individual Championships taking care of her first round matchup from Bowdoin 3-0 and second round opponent from Stanford in a comeback 3-2 win in the quarterfinals. This year the women are led by a group of seven seniors;

Juliette Love,
MacKenzie O'Shea,
Nisha Pedda,
Natasha Rimalovski and
India Spencer. The team is joined by five first-year;
Haley Coon from Arlington, Va.,
Lele Gibbs and
Tattie Gibbs from Boston, Mass,
Maggie Motch from Cincinnati, Ohio and
Tori Thill hailing from Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Abplanalp, who enters his seventh season with the Mules, is assisted once again by
Tyler Smith who joined the team ahead of last season.
