Clinton, N.Y. - The Colby College Men's Ice Hockey team fell on the road to #6 Hamilton College 4-2 Friday night. The Mules fall to 3-4-2 while the Continentals improve to 9-2-0 tied for the top of the NESCAC.
The hosts got off to a strong start netting two goals in the opening frame including a buzzer as the horn sounded to send the game to the first intermission with Hamilton in front 2-0. After a scoreless second period, the Continentals opened a four goal lead with scores in the second and ninth minutes of the period. Colby was able to close the gap with goals by
Dhillon Wilde and
Donovan O'Neil, both scoring their first collegiate goals.
The Mules are back in action Saturday when they visit Amherst.
