Brunswick, Maine- Colby College Men's Squash began their final road trip of the season against in-state NESCAC rivals the Bowdoin College Polar Bears. The Mules defeated the Polar Bears 7-2 to improve to 8-4 overall and 5-3 in NESCAC conference competion, in the last NESCAC matchup before the championships.
The Mules saw three 3-0 match-ups by
Inwoo Lee,
Youssef Mostafa, and
Avery Rosenberg.
Seif Ashraf had a back-and-forth match-up, falling in the first and third rounds but succeeding in the second and forth rounds to make it to the fifth round and earning an 11-8 victory for the win. Similarly,
Sen Subramaniam succeeded in his first two rounds before falling in the second two rounds to make it to the fifth round for the match victory.
On Friday, February 2nd, Colby College Men's Squash will travel to Haverford, Pennsylvania to compete against the Haverford College Black Squirrels in the penultimate match of the regular season.
