Waterville, Maine- Colby College Women's Squash remained at the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center to compete against the St. Lawrence University Saints. The Mules were victorious finishing 7-2 to improve to 3-5 overall and remain at 1-4 in NESCAC conference competition.
The Mules saw five 3-0 victories by
Andrea Lee,
Abhisheka David,
Aileen Dominguez,
India Spencer, and
MacKenzie O'Shea. In her fifth straight victory and fifth 3-0 victory,
Andrea Lee kept her opponent under five points in each round as she continues her senior year campaign.
India Spencer persevered through a tough match-up with a 16-14 first round victory before earning the overall victory.
Amanda Miller competed in a tough match-up falling in her first two rounds before succeeding in the next three rounds straight to earn the 3-2 victory.
Juliette Love had a back-and-forth contest succeeding in the first and third rounds before moving to the 5th round where Love took the 13-11 victory.
On Wednesday, January 24th, Colby College Women's Squash will compete in their final home match-up against in-state rivals the Bates College Bobcats at 7:00pm.
