Clinton, N.Y.- Colby College Men's Squash traveled to New York to compete against the Hamilton College Continentals. The Mules defeated the Continentals 8-1 to improve to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in NESCAC conference competition.
The Mules saw three 3-0 victories by
Inwoo Lee,
Jonathan Sosa Uranga, and
Sebastian Campos.
Inwoo Lee kept his competitor under five points for every round, and in the third round Lee held his competitor to zero points.
Sebastian Campos had a close match up going to twelve points in the first two rounds before finishing with a 11-8 round win and overall victory.
Seif Ashraf,
Sen Subramaniam,
Avery Rosenberg, and
Kit Illick all went 3-1 overall, falling in the first round before finding success in the next three round.
Rintaro Yamamoto had a back-and-forth match up winning the second and forth round to arrive at contentious final round where Yamamoto earned twelve points for the triumph.
Tomorrow, at 12:00pm, the Mules will travel to Massachusetts to complete their weekend NESCAC series and compete against the Williams College Ephs.
