Williamstown, Mass. — On Saturday morning, the Mules face a 4-0 loss after a long trip to Williams College.
Throughout today's game, the Mules didn't face many opportunities to find the back of the Ephs' net. The Ephs began with a steady, aggressive offense and tallied up 8 shots on goal, with MK Marshall saving 4.
The first half remained close up until the last 10 minutes with a goal by the Ephs. Jane Maguire attempted to answer back with a shot on goal but it was saved by the Ephs' goalie. The first half ended with the Mules down 1-0.
The second half started with numerous shot attempts by the Ephs but they remained unsuccessful until the 76th minute when they scored their second goal of the game. Colby's Madison Genser and Fati Salifu both challenged the Ephs with shot attempts in the second half but the Mules couldn't find an opening in the net to come back from a 4-0 deficit.
Colby Women's Soccer will be on the road again to play at Amherst College tomorrow (September 24th) at 2:00 p.m.
