Auburn, Maine - The Colby College Women's Cross Country team traveled across the state to compete against Tufts, Bates, WPI, Bowdoin, and Suffolk in the Bates Invitational for their second race of the season. The Mules finished ahead of in-state rivals, the Bowdoin College Polar Bears. 

In the competition at Roy's Golf Center, the Mules had three top twenty-five finishers. First-year Noe Nalavala led the way with a time of 06:31.7. Junior Claire Beebe and senior Penny King once again finished in the top three for the Mules with respective times of 06:33.6 and 06:34.9. 

On September 21st, Colby College Women's Cross Country will head to Bangor, Maine to compete in the Maine State Meet.
