Waterville, Maine - The #4 seeded Colby Softball team will travel to playoff hosts Tufts this weekend for the 2023 NESCAC Championship. The Mules are set to face #5 Bowdoin in the quarterfinals of the single elimination tournament on May 13th. 

During the regular season, Colby split their doubleheader against the Polar Bears winning game one 10-5 and falling in game two 2-4. Overall the Mules have a 23-13 season record (10-8 in conference play) including winning their final three games of the regular season. This will mark the first time in program history the Mules will be making back-to-back appearances in the NESCAC Championship. Last year, Colby was defeated by Middlebury 2-7 in the tournament.

The winner will play in the semifinals the same day at 2:30pm versus the winner of game one (Middlebury or Tufts) with the championship game taking place May 14th at 11:00am.
