Cambridge, Mass. - Colby traveled to MIT tonight to take on the Engineers for the first time in program history. The Mules went into the half with a 6-5 lead and held on for the 12-10 victory. The win takes Colby to 2-6 and MIT to 8-3.
The first half saw the Mules keep pace with the Engineers as they matched them goal for goal before getting the eventual go-ahead.
Henry Popko and
Alex Reitman led the scoring for the Mules in the first half with two goals a piece.
Ryan Darby and
Ben Reynolds each contributed additional tallies.
Will Rickards had another career game with 19 saves, with ten coming in the first half.
The second half saw Colby dig deep and fight defensively to preserve the lead as they were out shot 29-12. Rickards kept the Mules in the game by putting up another nine saves in the second half. Darby led Colby's second-half scoring with two goals. Popko,

Jack Goller all had tallies for the Mules in the second half. Rickards led Colby in ground balls with five, while
