Waterville, Maine - The Colby Women's Ice Hockey team is set to return to the NCAA tournament for the second straight season as an at-large bid. The Mules posted the most wins in a season in program history, falling in the conference semifinals to Hamilton College. The tournament berth marks the second consecutive year the Mules have earned a spot as one of the nation's elite, the only two appearances the College has made in the women's tournament.
Norwich will enter the game with a 19-7-2 record after topping Elmira College in the NEHC Championship game. Colby enters the match after setting a program record with 17 wins on the season. The Cadets placed six members on the NEHC All-Conference first and second teams, including Player of the Year Ann-Frederique Guay. Colby placed
Meg Rittenhouse to the All-NESCAC First Team after leading the NESCAC with 30 points in 24 games, and
Bri Michaud-Nolan returned to the Second Team for the second consecutive year. Against like-opponents, Norwich posted a 4-3-2 record while the Mules were 6-3-0.
