Colby Wins Another NESCAC Matchup Facing Hamilton

Waterville, Maine - In a highly anticipated NESCAC matchup, the Colby College Women's Lacrosse team extended their winning streak to four games with an 11-6 victory over the 23rd-ranked Hamilton College on Saturday afternoon. This outcome brings the Mules to a even conference record of 2-2 and takes the Continentals down to 1-3.

Annie Eddy scored the opening goal with a free-position shot, and Elizabeth Hennessey put the Mules ahead by two with a goal less than three minutes later. This early momentum set the tone for the rest of the game, as Colby maintained their lead throughout all four quarters. On her side, Ally Franz scored three goals and had one assist while Julia Jardina scored her ninth goal of the season and won nine draws, both contributing significantly to Colby's victory. Additionally, goalkeeper Sarah Hearns made three of her six saves in the fourth quarter, helping to maintain Colby's lead and secure the win.

Next Saturday, the Mules will travel to New London to battle against Connecticut College and attempt to bring their win streak to five.
