San Antonio, TX - Colby Women's Tennis concluded their spring break trip against 15th ranked Trinity University Texas. The women fell by 7 matches to 2.

The women found themselves down 3 matches to 0 after the doubles. The top team of junior captains Sam Riordan and Sydney Landau fell 8-4, at line 2 freshmen Bella Suk and Maddie Omicioli lost 8-2, and at the 3rd spot freshmen Amelie Gal and Ellie Gershaw fell 8-1.

The two points for the Mules came at 2nd and 4th singles. Landau dominated on court 2, taking down her opponent 6-0, 6-2. At line 4, Omicioli overcame a first set deficit and pulled out the win 3-6, 6-4, 10-8.

Riordan fell at line 1 6-4, 6-4, Gershaw lost 6-2, 6-2 at line 3, Suk was defeated at line 5 6-2, 6-3 and senior captain Caleigh McClain lost 6-4, 6-3.

The women continue their spring season on April 2nd against Wesleyan.
