Middletown, CT - The Colby Women's Tennis Team fell to 4th ranked Wesleyan on Sunday, April 2nd by a score of 8-1.

The Mules found themselves down 2-1 after the doubles. At the top spot, junior captains Sam Riordan and Sydney Landau won 8-7. At line 2, freshmen Bella Suk and Maddie Omicioli fell 8-4. At the 3rd spot, freshmen Amelie Gal and Ellie Gershaw also fell 8-4.

The Cardinals swept the Mules in the singles. At 2nd singles, Landau went to a deciding set with her opponent, but was ultimately outlasted by a final score of 5-7, 6-2, 7-5. At 4th singles, Omicioli also had a tight contest, but fell in a 3rd set 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. At 6th singles, senior captain Caleigh McClain fell 2-6, 6-1, 6-0.

The Mules host Bates on Wednesday, April 5th.
