Davenport, Fla. - The Colby College Baseball team scored five runs in the last three innings to come from behind with a walk off win against St. Lawrence University 8-7, scoring the winning run on a wild pitch. The Mules improve to 4-2 while the Saints drop their 2023 opening game and fall to 0-1. Â
- Brady O'Brien hit his second home run of the season in the 3rd inning and his third of the year in the 8th inning. His five RBI led Colby. Â
- Six different Mules collected a hit on the afternoon, led by O'Brien and Clint Flippo with two apiece.Â
- Colby played clean defense behind four different pitchers, committing zero errors. Catcher Cole Palmeri picked off a St. Lawrence baserunner in the second inning and threw out a baserunner on an attempted steal in the third.Â
The Mules are back in action Sunday against Washington and Jefferson College.Â
