Greensboro, N.C. - Seven Mules from the Colby College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving team are set to head down to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships being held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Senior
Ann Tolan and Sophomore
Gabriella Landau will represent the women's team. Tolan is heading back to NCAA Championships after competing last year and will race in the 50 freestyle after a qualifying time of 23.31 while Landau will compete in the 100 backstroke after placing a time of 56.18.
On the Men's side, Junior
Neil Mortimer who is coming off two first place finishes including a conference record in the NESCAC Championships, will compete in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly for individual events. As a team, Mortimer will be joined by Senior
Shaun Kronenwetter, Junior
Allen Zhu, and First-Year
Brandon Xiong for the 200 freestyle relay after placing a time of 1:21.05. The Mules will also compete in the 200 medley relay with a qualifying time of 1:28.88 including Mortimer, Kronenwetter, Xiong, and First-Year
Alexander MacLennan.
Competition will start tomorrow March 15th and will finish up on March 18th. Fans can follow the events through the NCAA
