Waterville, Maine- Men's Hockey battled against the top ranked team in the NESCAC, Trinity College, earlier tonight at the Jack Kelley Rink.

James Tepper opened the scoring in the game, putting Colby up 1-0 scoring an unassisted goal after winning a battle for the puck in front of Trinity's net. The Bantams would even the score several minutes later and would take the 2-1 lead over the Mules with just over two minutes to play in the period. In the second period, Colby's only offensive chance came forty-four seconds in, with
John McElaney scoring his team-leading eighth goal of the season, with
Jack Sullivan assisting. Trinity would go on to score two unanswered goals to go ahead 4-2 over the Mules. The final twenty minutes, Colby outshot the Bantams 11-4, but were unable to tally a goal this period.
Andy Beran made 25 saves for the Mules and
Max O'Brien led the defense with six blocked shots.

Colby is back in action and honoring their five seniors in their last regular season home game against the second-ranked team in the NESCAC, Wesleyan University, tomorrow, February 11. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 PM.
