Boston, Mass. - The Colby College Indoor Track and Field team started off the 2023-24 campaign in Boston for the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. The Mules competed in select distance events.
Over the course of the event both the men and women notched some top tier results in the distance races.
Madeline Bush snagged sixth place in the 600m run while placing 15th in the 1000m run.
Alicia Hober (13th),
Emily Jeon (16th) and
Rebecca Anderson (17th) also competed in the 1000m.
On the men's side of competition, Liam McGoldrick finished just inside the top ten in the 1000m run placing ninth followed closely by Hugh McGuire in 11th place and Chris Gould in 12th. Nathan Goodman was not too far behind with a 17th place finish as well. Other results for the men include Alex Bingham placing 11th in the 600m run, Thomas Speltz placing 23rd in the 800m run, and Henry Reichle grabbing 4th in the Mile.
