Babson Park, Mass. - For the second day of the Babson Judy Pearson '84 Memorial Tournament, the Colby Women's Basketball team took on Susquehanna University falling to their opponents 59-69. This places the Mules at 8-4 on the season while the River Hawks improve to 7-4.
Colby battled tightly with Susquehanna for most of the game besides the first quarter where the River Hawks got out to a 24-18 lead. From there, the next three quarters where decided by only a single possession not allowing the Mules to make a comeback chance.
Despite the loss,
Amelia Hanscom continued to display her offensive presence totaling 19 points following her 16 points in yesterdays win.
Carter McGloon finished with 11 points while
Kate Olenik also scored in the double digits with ten.
Up next, Colby Women's Basketball will host Trinity Friday, January 5th for their first conference matchup of the season at 7:00pm.
