Hadley, Mass. - The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) announced its women's soccer awards for the 2023 season Wednesday. 

Colby first-year Samantha DeWitt was named to the All-NESCAC second team for her exceptional performance in the backfield throughout the year. She is one of only two first-years in the conference to be named All-NESCAC. While positioning as one of the anchors at center back, DeWitt recorded two goals over the course of the season, scoring the lone goal resulting in a tie with Tufts and securing the opening goal in the 3-2 upset over #17 ranked Hamilton. She started in 14 of the 15 games this season and contributed the third most minutes on the team.
